A Little About My Wonderful HanFic

This is a Science Fiction/Fantasy story. I'd say it probably leans more toward the Fantasy side, but I added in the "Science Fiction" bit just to make it clear what type of Fantasy story I was talking about. Originally I actually came up with the "basic" plot of the story sometime in '97 before I was ever a Hanson fan. Regrettably, that conversion only took place in the summer of '98. Anyway, originally I never planned on writing my story down. I had come up with many a plot in my time, for my own occupation of mind and had never even thought of using the conventional pen and paper, or even a computer to write them down. Now, I at least have the wit to think about writing something down, but mostly they are not worth the effort. This was my favorite story, really. I kept coming back to it, revising much in my head. Eventually the thought occured to me to stick Zac into a certain role and write my story as a HanFic. I believe that was the most brilliant notions I have ever had :) I can alwasy go back, adjust a few things, and rewrite my story in a more conventional method.

As I write, I always think of new things I have to put in, I have to readjust things to fit, and elaborate the parts that were originally quite vague in my head, etc. etc. Basically, this story is turning out quite different than the original vague version. Honestly, I like it much better.

I won't give anything away, but I will say two things: 1) There is more on the way. 2) I am NO WHERE NEAR done with this thing. *sigh* That's a good thing and a bad thing. Good because it's going to be nice and long and fun for all you kiddies and I will enjoy playing with the story and making it work. It is bad because how the HECK am I going to get it ALL DOWN without taking FOREVER AND A DAY and getting totally SICK TO DEATH OF IT!!!!! AGHHH!!! Okay, I am perfectly calm now. I do love my story. Just don't push me too much. *evil grin* And bear with me when it comes to writer's block.

Do you want to know something immensely funny? I'm anxious to see how the story unravels and turns out, almost as much as if I was just a reader and spectator with no idea what so ever as to how it'll go. I DO know the plot of what is going to happen, it's just kind of like I'm looking at it through a fog. I know it all, but I don't. George Lucas said it really well in one of his interviews about Episode I and much of Star Wars but I regretfully don't remember the exact words. So, I'm looking forward to finding out what words my fingers type out on this keyboard as much as you are. We two are in the same boat.
